Post Christmas Exhaustion

  • Listening to: Whirling of my aching brain
  • Reading: my terrible waffle as it appears on my essay
  • Watching: Nothing - life has ended til essays do
  • Eating: Beautiful brandy-filled Christmas Cake
  • Drinking: Tea from my lovely brother
So last journal was august. oops. Just a quick one as I'm on a break from struggling my way through a 6k and a 2k word essay (both in for Wed!) to say that I'm alive. Christmas was great though v busy with guests non-stop for about 4 weeks (up to 7 extra in the house at one point), but lovely to see them all. Now back to essay grind etc. Uni starting next week - wooohhhoo she says slightly sarcastically! No really I will be glad when its over!

I've set up an alternate dev site for my photography: delamare-photography so this might be more art focused (and that more photography) if I get a chance to put pen to paper at all. Meant to help with my photography website search listings etc but we'll see. Currently trying to get a favicon on my website too. Quite exciting. Its the little thing next to the website in the addressbar. Could be cool

Best get on with work!

sorry for taking so long to come 'round. I have been busy trying to get my own dummy/binky/pacifier, since Joji will not turn loose of his. :(
actually that phase was short lived..now he wants to eat rocks..or grass..or whatever his able little hands can pick up..I blame myself mostly, but it seems my little boy has become something of a stuntman. it's scary..I cant watch.

Very nice. I wish you luck, and thanks for adding me to your friends. The real heat these days seems to focus on Mesopotamian archeological sites or New World discoveries 10-13,000 bp. Pick a culture and run with it. My thing goes more with all sorts of dead bodies. My last open cadaver lab looked something akin to everyone pressed against the walls, nauseated, while I was bouncing up and down next to the body. “It’s always the Goth kids” was my teacher’s response. It was interesting…lol.

well i'm more ancient based... going landscape archaeology next term, have done general theory and practice this and some ancient history thrown in for good measure. Hoping to do a module on forensics next year, or one on past human health which has elements of the same module. V interesting stuff!
